Wow!! This is awesome 🙂 I just got back from a two months in Israel and am doing my best to keep up the Hebrew! Before going to Israel, I thought Seattle would be devoid of Hebrew speakers but it seemed like everyone I met in Israel had an uncle or cousin who lived there.

Are you planning on publishing any of your Anki lists? I have had trouble finding good ones for Hebrew!

Behetsleha!! You seem like you are doing great. At this point, I am trying to maintain and increase my vocab. Since I do music and speak some other languages, my pronunciation is really good and people would get surprised a few sentences in when my Hebrew reached it’s limits.

    best,

    Andy

    Oh very cool!
Yes, I’ll publish my Anki lists (with the audio!). . .in general I think it’s best to mine the sentences oneself so that you have some emotional connection to the sentences you are memorizing. . . sometimes decks are useful for you to pick and choose what things you want to include in your own decks.

Hi! Love your site, thanks for the links and useful information. I’ve been trying to learn Ivrit for a few years now, and stopped for a year but have started up again. Hoping to get to a stage where I can understand what I am hearing and converse better with people without them getting fedup at how slow I am!
